Marius Bülter als „Schalker des Monats August“ ausgezeichnet

A goal in Köln, a last gasp equaliser against Mönchengladbach and scoring from the spot against his former side Union Berlin: Marius Bülter was Schalke’s top scorer last month, topping off some excellent performances. He has been rewarded by Royal Blue fans by being voted “Schalker of the Month” for August.

Bülter won the vote, presented by club partner Hagedorn, with a total of 65% of ballots cast in his name. Rodrigo Zalazar and Thomas Ouwejan followed in second and third respectively, with around 1500 fans taking part in the vote. Among them was Heike Kaiser, chosen at random to be this month’s lucky winner, bagging two hospitality tickets for the clash against local neighbours VfL Bochum on Saturday.

An unforgettable experience

Heike Kaiser was buzzing after the meet and greet with Schalke’s number 11. “The home win against Bochum was already an outstanding experience, but that I was able to meet with Marius Bülter afterwards made it evening I will never forget,” she commented.

Voting for September’s award will open in the Schalke 04 App in the week after the Revierderby against Borussia Dortmund. Hagedorn will be once again offering two hospitality tickets to a lucky voter, this time for the home fixture against Augsburg (Sunday, 2nd October, 17:30 CEST), as well as a meet and greet with the winner of the vote (DFL and Schalke 04 COVID rules allowing).
