In our original colours from 1904: The new third kit

In the year 1904, a group of students founded a new club in the shadow of the Consolidation colliery. The name: Westfalia Schalke, the colours: red and yellow. The new third kit for the 2021/22 season looks back to the time of the club’s founding, with a red base and yellow accents on the sleeve cuffs.

The fit and materials of the shirt make for a comfortable wearer’s experience. On the left breast, there is, as ever, the club badge, in the colours we have worn since 1912: royal blue and white.

The jersey is one that can be worn in many relaxed environments. It is made from a structured material in a mottled dark red, with a faux-buttoned collar on the front, along with an embroidered Umbro logo opposite the club badge and a label of authenticity on the bottom of the shirt’s side. The slogan of the shirt has been applied on the back of the neck: “In unseren Farben von 1904” (In our original colours from 1904) is visible in yellow.

The kit is completed by dark-red shorts featuring a yellow accent on the side panel. In the early days of the club, it is known that the goalkeeper wore a hooped shirt, and with the socks of this kit we honour that history, with yellow hoops accenting the dark-red socks.

The new third kit will be available exclusively on the S04 online store. It will also be sold in the S04-Fanshops before the end of next week. The men’s version of the shirt will retail at 84.95 Euro, with women’s and children’s sizes, the shorts and the socks coming in the next few weeks.
