Positive Covid-19 test within the first-team setup

The player in question has been in quarantine since being informed about the positive test result. The player had tested negative for the virus during a previous round of testing on Tuesday (22/09).

Team doctor Dr. Patrick Ingelfinger, who is also in charge of the team’s hygiene concept, is in contact with the local health authorities and other public authorities in order to discuss and implement any further measures. Schalke 04 will of course implement any regulations set forth by the local authorities.
