Short training camp and friendly against Norwich City

The Royal Blues have added to their pre-season plans: head coach David Wagner’s side will take part in a short training camp in Herzlake from Tuesday 16th July to Friday 19th July.

The team will depart from Emsland and head to Lotte in Westphalia on Friday, where Norwich City will be waiting for them. The friendly is set to kick off at 18:30 CEST in the Frimo Stadion.

The English club, nicknamed ‘The Canaries,’ were promoted into the Premier League last season under the direction of German head coach Daniel Farke. Former Schalke attacker Teemu Pukki played a key role in Norwich’s successful promotion, and can look forward to a reunion of sorts in Lotte. Pukki scored 29 goals for Norwich City last season, and took home awards as the Championship’s top goal-scorer and player of the season.
