FC Schalke 04 agree comprehensive partnership with SPORTFIVE

FC Schalke 04 have joined forces with SPORTFIVE for the marketing of sponsorship and hospitality. The partnership with the global marketing agency has been outlined for a five-year period and has been individually tailored to the Royal Blues’ needs.

As previously announced, the marketing rights and therefore the ultimate decisions regarding commercial matters will remain fully with the club, who will remain the contractual partner of any sponsors. S04 will continue to run partnership management with their sponsorship and hospitality partners themselves, as well as the implementation of right. SPORTFIVE will take over the marketing with a team put together specifically for FC Schalke 04.

The board, led by CEO Matthias Tillmann, has achieved its first central goal for the year with this formidable partnership, namely a strategic realignment for the marketing department. With SPORTFIVE’s comprehensive network and extensive market knowledge, a new dynamic has been created that will have a stabilising effect on revenue in the short-term and a positive impact in the medium-term. Beyond that, both partners will work together to develop marketing content and implement new sales opportunities through the likes of consistent digitalisation and innovative ideas.
