Our home. Our home shirt. FC Schalke 04’s kit for the 2026/27 season celebrates the 25th anniversary of the VELTINS-Arena. Created together with adidas and 11teamsports, the royal-blue and navy shirt features an abstract pattern inspired by the roof structure of Schalke’s home, finished with white and light-blue detailing. It will make its first appearance on the pitch in Sunday’s (19/7) friendly against FC Erzgebirge Aue.

From training ground to vibrant meeting place: FC Schalke 04 is transforming Berger Feld into an open community space for supporters, local residents and visitors alike. The first visible step in this initiative is the start of construction work on a new experience centre located close to the VELTINS-Arena and Auf Schalke eG tower. At a site visit on Wednesday (24/6), FC Schalke 04 CEO Matthias Tillmann and Sebastian Buntkirchen, director of fan culture and responsible for brand and fan experience, presented the club’s strategic ‘Schalke Experience’ project as well as plans for the long-term development of the space.

The German Football League (DFL) is looking to name its Player of the Season for the current campaign in its official app. Among the 16 nominees are three Schalke players: Loris Karius, Soufiane El-Faouzi and Kenan Karaman.

First-half figures show another positive result for FC Schalke 04

FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e.V. published its financial figures for the first half of the 2025/26 season on Tuesday (24/3). During the first half of the season (1/7 to 31/12/25), the Royal Blues recorded a consolidated profit of €2.5 million (same period last year: €6.6 million), putting the club within the projected range for the season. Revenue totalled €83.5 million (same period last year: €95.0 million). The decline was mainly due to fewer events at the VELTINS-Arena compared to the first half of 2024/25.

Auf Schalke eG purchases €7.5 million stadium stake

FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e.V. has successfully completed the sale of stadium shares to Auf Schalke eG, providing S04 with fresh equity. For €7.5 million, the supporters’ Cooperative is acquiring a portion of the club’s stake in the VELTINS-Arena stadium company.
