Tom Krauß nominated for Bundesliga Rookie of the Month in September
This season, the Bundesliga is once again shining a spotlight on the league’s best young talents, as part of the Rookie of the Month Award. S04’s Tom Krauß is part of September’s nominees, alongside Bartol Franjic (VfL Wolfsburg) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (Bayer 04 Leverkusen).
Krauß has started every game so far this season for the Royal Blues, impressing each time. The Germany U21 international delivered a solid string of performances in midfield last month, leading to him being voted the Schalker of the Month by the fans. Could the youngster now be rewarded with a second accolade?
Schalke fans can vote for Krauß at rookie-award.com from now until 23:59 CEST on Thursday (6/10). Fans Germany-wide are eligible to vote, with the clubs and selected Bundesliga experts also contributing to the voting.
In order to be eligible for the ROTM voting, players must fulfill certain criteria. The player must be no older than 23 years old by matchday 1, have never started a game in the Bundesliga and not have featured for more than 450 minutes in Germany’s top flight.
