Taylan Bulut helps Germany U19s defeat England

Taylan Bulut and Germany U19s won 3-2 against England on Tuesday (10/9). The Schalke defender started for Hanno Balitsch’s side in Croatia and played a big part in the victory.

The 18-year-old set up Max Moerstedt’s opening goal with a brilliant solo run across half of the pitch (19’).

After Ethan Nwaneri had drawn England level (59’), two goals from Said El Mala gave Germany a two-goal advantage (79’, 83’). Despite Tyler Dibling’s goal a minute later, Germany held on for the win.

It was Bulut’s second appearance during the international break. The youngster, who came off just before the final whistle, played 20 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Italy on Saturday (7/9).
