Royal Blues could face off in EURO 2020

In Bucharest on Saturday (30.11.19) the six groups for EURO 2020 were drawn. More than half a dozen Schalke players were involved with their respective national sides and can therefore all hope to make appearances at the tournament next summer. The next European Championship begins on the 12th of June 2020.

Wins for two Royal Blues in EURO 2020 qualifiers

Two Royal Blues had reason to celebrate after achieving success in their respective EURO qualifiers on Saturday evening (16.11). Germany and Suat Serdar qualified for next summer’s European Championship with a win against Belarus, while Rabbi Matondo and Wales took an important step in the right direction in their qualification campaign.

4-1 against Canada – Weston McKennie and the USA record a notable win.

The USA national side returned to CONCACAF Nations League action on Saturday as Weston McKennie and Co. beat Canada 4-1.

Ahmed Kutucu called up to Turkey’s senior side

National coach Senol Günes has called up Ahmed Kutucu to Turkey’s senior side after they secured qualification for EURO 2020 with a 0-0 draw against Iceland on Thursday evening (14/11). The 19-year-old was previously in Turkey’s U21s squad for this international break.
