Taylan Bulut called up to Germany U19s to face Italy and England

Defender Taylan Bulut has been called up to the Germany U19s squad for the upcoming international break. Moussa Sylla has decided to remain at Schalke and will not be joining up with the Mali national team.

19-year-old Bulut travelled to Frankfurt to meet up with the U19s on Tuesday (3.9.). The following day, Hanno Balitsch’s side will travel to Croatia, where Germany U19s will play two international friendlies, first against Italy on 7th September (15:00 CEST) and then against England on 10th September (16:30 CEST).

After suffering an injury during the home match against 1. FC Köln, Moussa Sylla will not be going out on international duty for Mali. S04 sporting director Marc Wilmots personally discussed and agreed this with Mali’s head coach. FC Schalke 04’s medical team had previously diagnosed Sylla with an adductor strain.
