Harit featured for 82 minutes in the game and put in an impressive performance in St. Petersburg as Morocco dominated large periods of the game. Morocco had numerous chances to open the scoring but failed to break the deadlock. Seconds before full time, Morocco finally scored – but in their own goal, gifting Iran all three points in the process.

Amine Harit and Morocco’s next chance to pick up points comes on Wednesday in Morocco against Portugal who picked up a point in a thrilling 3-3 against Spain. Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals for Portugal.
