Defeat for Schöpf and Burgstaller versus Brazil

After defeating Germany, Alessandro Schöpf and Guido Burgstaller were defeated by a fellow favourite for the World Cup. In their final international before the summer break, the two Schalke players were involved in Austria’s 3-0 loss to Brazil.

While Schöpf played the first hour in Vienna’s Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Burgstaller came on in the 58th minute. The Selecao’s goals came from Gabriel Jesus, Neymar and Philiippe Coutinho.
