Henning Matriciani called up to Germany U21s for the first time

After his strong performances for FC Schalke 04 in recent weeks, Henning Matriciani has been called up to represent Germany U21s for the first time in his career. Tom Krauß, who has won 10 caps to date, is in also in Antonio Di Salvo’s squad, announced on Friday (17/3).

Germany U21s will play two friendlies during the upcoming international break as they continue preparations for this summer’s European Championship. Their first game is against Japan on Friday (24/3, 18:15 CET) in Frankfurt, before a trip to Romania on Tuesday (28/3, 18:00 CET).
