Perfect start to qualification for Král

EURO 2024 qualification has started with a win for Alex Král and the Czech Republic. The Schalke midfielder and his team beat Poland 3-1 in Prague.

Ladislav Krejci opened the scoring for Czechia with just 32 seconds on the clock, and Tomas Cvancara doubled their lead two minutes later in an electric start for the home team. The third goal came after half time, as Jan Kuchta made it 3-0 – all three Czech goals were scored by Sparta Prague players. The assist for the third goal was provided by Schalke man Král, who played the ball precisely across the box for his compatriot. Damian Szymanski netted Poland’s consolation goal three minutes from time.

Monday (27/03) will see the Czech Republic play their second qualifier for EURO 2024 in Moldova. Kickoff in Chisinau is 20:45 CEST.
