Keita Baldé put Senegal in the lead again in the 62nd minute, before Kalidou Koulibaly levelled the score up again for the hosts. After matchday 2, Senegal sit top of their qualification group with four points. The game was, however, overshadowed by an incident at the stadium entrance in Antananarivo which saw one person lose their life.
