Successful friendly for Salif Sané

Senegal are ready and prepared for the Africa Cup. Salif Sané and his teammates celebrated a 1-0 victory against Nigeria in their final test ahead of the tournament on Sunday (16/6) in a game held behind closed doors. Idrissa Gueye scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute.

On Friday (21/6), the Africa Cup begins in Egypt. Senegal’s campaign will start on Sunday (23/6), when they face Tanzania (kickoff: 19:00 CEST). They will also go up against Algeira (27/6, 19:00 CEST and Kenya (1/7, 21:00 CEST) in the group stage. All the games will take place in Cairo.
