Two Royal Blues in final Germany U21 squad
Germany’s U21s will look to defend their European Championship title with two Royal Blues in the squad. On Friday (7th June), head coach Stefan Kuntz named both Alexander Nübel and Suat Serdar to his 23-man squad for the upcoming European Championship in Italy and San Marino, which runs from 16th to 30th June. Cedric Teuchert did not make the final squad.
Germany will face Denmark (17th June), Serbia (20th June), and Austria (23rd June) in Group B action. The top team in each group, as well as the best overall second-place team will qualify for the semifinal on 27th June. The final will take place on 30th June.
