The only goal of the day was scored by Dynamo Moscow’s Jaroslav Gladyshev in the 70th minute. Schalke’s number 39 played the full 90 minutes as he won his fourth cap for his nation’s U19s.

Mikhailov & Co. will take on Germany on Saturday (13/11) as well as Faroe Islands on Tuesday (16/11). Those two sides also faced off yesterday, with Germany winning 4-1. Both games will be played in Patras, Greece.

Idrizi doesn’t feature in a 2-0 defeat

Blendi Idrizi, on the other hand, didn’t play on Wednesday. The 23-year-old was an unused substitute in Kosovo’s 2-0 friendly defeat to Jordan. Their goals were scored by Baha’ Faisal (18’) and Hamza Al-Dardour (86’).

Kosovo will come up against Greece on Sunday (14/11) in their final World cup qualifier, though they have no chance of reaching Qatar as they are sat bottom in Group B.
