FC Schalke 04 relieve head coach David Wagner of his duties

FC Schalke 04 have parted ways with head coach David Wagner with immediate effect. Assistant coaches Christoph Bühler and Frank Fröhling were also placed on gardening leave on Sunday (27/9).

David Wagner: We’re particularly looking forward to seeing the fans

The game against SC Verl will be Schalke’s first game staged in the ‘new’ Parkstadion, which was designated the U23 and U19 sides’ official home ground at the end of July.
