Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Janik Bachmann and Bryan Lasme back in partial training

Preparations are well underway ahead of the Royal Blues’ next league outing against Preußen Münster on Saturday (22/11). There was a warm welcome for some returning faces in Tuesday’s (18/11) session, as Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Janik Bachmann and Bryan Lasme all took part in some sections of first-team training.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei opened the scoring for FC Schalke 04 away at Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday (5/10). The 31-year-old pounced on an errant pass from the opposition goalkeeper, showing off his excellent reflexes to quickly turn the ball into the back of the net.

During Sunday’s (17/08) DFB-Pokal first-round tie between 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig and FC Schalke 04, at least one home supporter racially abused Christopher Antwi-Adjei. The Royal Blues strongly condemn this incident.

Janik Bachmann and Christopher Antwi-Adjei complete parts of team training

FC Schalke 04 are busy preparing for Saturday’s home game against Hamburger SV (19/4, 20:30 CEST). Ahead of the game against the current league leaders, head coach Kees van Wonderen was able to welcome two players back to the training pitch. Janik Bachmann, who had been sidelined with a calf issue recently, and Christopher Antwi-Adjei (thigh) were both able to complete parts of today’s team session.

FC Schalke 04 began preparations at the start of the new week for the home game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Friday (29/11). Christopher Antwi-Adjei and Emil Højlund, who had only been able to train individually recently, completed parts of team training.

FC Schalke 04 have signed Christopher Antwi-Adjei. The 30-year-old joins from Bundesliga side VfL Bochum and has put pen to paper on a contract until 30th June 2026. He will wear the number 18 shirt for the Royal Blues.
