S04 to leave for training camp in Mittersill on Monday

FC Schalke 04 will head to the Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern for their summer training camp for the eighth time on Monday (8th July). In Mittersill, head coach Karel Geraerts’ side will spend a week working hard to prepare for the challenges ahead in both the 2. Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.

Marc Wilmots arrives in Albufeira: Meet the team, gather a first impression and get started

It’s been a busy few days for Marc Wilmots. The new sporting director immediately set about his work after signing a contract. On Friday (05/01), the Belgian arrived at Schalke 04’s training camp in Albufeira together with new CEO Matthias Tillmann in order to greet the players, coaches and staff and introduce himself.

First friendly against SC Spelle-Venhaus – training camp once again in Mittersill

FC Schalke 04 are now able to confirm the key dates for this summer’s pre-season. Thomas Reis’ team will start training ahead of the 2023/24 season on Monday, 26th June at the Parkstadion. An exact start time will be announced in due course.

Here we go, it’s time for the training camp in Mittersill! Schalke 04 have safely arrived at the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, with the team bus, which was transporting the 32 players who have travelled to Austria, pulling into the Schloss Mittersill car park at precisely 15:08 CEST.

Pre-season schedule: Training to get underway at the Parkstadion- first friendly opponent confirmed

36 days after winning the 2. Bundesliga and returning to the top flight, Schalke will begin their preparations for the 2022/23 season. The first training session will take place on Wednesday 22nd June at the Parkstadion. Entry to the session (approx. 11:00 CEST start) is free.

Following FC Schalke 04’s successful promotion back to the Bundesliga, the club have already laid plans in preparation for the 2022/23 season. The team will take part in a pre-season training camp in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region from 11th to 20th July.

Schalke 04 training camp in Belek cancelled

FC Schalke 04 have decided not to travel to the planned training camp in Belek, Turkey. The decision was taken following discussions with the medical department as well as correspondence with the relevant authorities with consideration given to the current coronavirus situation and especially the growing spread of the Omicron variant.

S04 to travel to Belek for their winter training camp

FC Schalke 04 will prepare for the second half of the season in the Turkish Riviera. Head coach Dimitrios Grammozis’ side will train for one week in Belek, from Monday 3rd January until Sunday 9th January. The plan is to play at least one friendly during their stay in southern Turkey.

Schedule for pre-season friendlies announced

FC Schalke 04 will again travel to Mittersill, Austria for the summer training camp, which will run from 29th June to 10th July 2021. Two friendlies have been arranged during the camp in the Hohe Tauern National Park region, while head coach Dimitrios Grammozis' team will play three more matches in Gelsenkirchen ahead of the 2020/21 season.
