It is now confirmed that Schöpf will need an operation. The midfielder will have his lateral collateral ligament in his left knee operated on. Schöpf picked up this injury after a poor challenge from Karim Rekik, which not only tore his ligament in his knee but also damaged the capsule of his left knee.

Stambouli has had his fractured cheekbone operated on. He got this injury after fighting for the ball against Arne Maier. The operation was successful. Stambouli will now miss around four weeks of training.

Steven Skrzybski, the third player to get injured, will be out for two weeks with a thigh strain.
