Pape Meïssa Ba moves to Widzew Lodz

Pape Meïssa Ba has completed a permanent move to Polish first-division side Widzew Lodz. The striker had joined the Royal Blues last winter, going on to feature in 13 matches (2 goals) in the second half of the 2024/25 season. The details of the transfer will remain undisclosed.

“Pape knew that it would be difficult for him to get as much playing time as he’d hoped for here. After open and honest talks about his future, we searched for a solution together and have now found one. We wish Pape all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts at Schalke,” said Youri Mulder, S04’s director of professional football.
