Raffael Tonello joins Schalke 04, Mathias Schober departs the club

Raffael Tonello, most recently chief scout at Watford, will take over as head of the academy and the club’s head youth scout. As part of this restructuring, the role of director of the Knappenschmiede and development is no longer required. As a result, Mathias Schober’s contract has ended with immediate effect.

Vitalie Becker signs first professional contract with Schalke 04

Another talent from the academy has committed his future to the Royal Blues. U19s player Vitalie Becker has signed a long-term senior contract with FC Schalke 04.
