Florian Flick completes permanent move to 1. FC Nürnberg

Florian Flick has joined 1. FC Nürnberg on a permanent basis, having spent the second half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga 2 side. Details of the transfer will remain undisclosed.

“Florian used those six months at Nürnberg in order to gain match practice and further his own development. The competition within the centre midfielders in our squad remains high, which is why we were able to find a solution together,” said André Hechelmann, S04 sporting director. “Florian will always have a special place in the hearts of all Schalke fans due to being part of our promotion-winning squad. We wish him all the best, both on and off the pitch, in Nuremberg.”
