Hamza Mendyl joins Dijon FCO on loan

Hamza Mendyl will leave FC Schalke 04 to join Dijon FCO on loan until 30th June 2020. The French side finished in 18th place in Ligue 1 last season. The left-back joined the Royal Blues in summer 2018 and signed a contract until 30th June 2023.

The 21-year-old Moroccan international made 16 appearances for Schalke in 2018/19, featuring nine times in the Bundesliga, six times in the Champions League and once in the DFB-Pokal.
