Hamza Mendyl ruled out for approximately four weeks

Hamza Mendyl, who suffered an ankle injury in the DFB-Pokal game with 1. FC Köln, has now had his injury examined and has received a diagnosis.

An MRI scan on Friday afternoon (2/11) has shown that the 21-year-old has torn two ligaments in his right ankle. A more serious injury was able to be ruled out. The usual recovery time for Mendyl’s injury is approximately four weeks.
