Keke Topp joins Werder Bremen

Forward Keke Topp is to leave FC Schalke 04 after agreeing a deal with Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen. The 20-year-old still had one year remaining on his contract with Schalke. All parties involved have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.

“Keke developed very well during his first full season in senior football. For that reason, we made him an offer to extend his contract, but it became clear during the talks that he had his heart set on a move. With that in mind, we have found a financially viable solution,” explained Marc Wilmots on behalf of the management. “We would like to thank Keke for his contributions to the club during his time here. We wish him all the best for his future on and off the pitch.”
