Mehmet Can Aydin extends contract until 2025

“Memo has proved in the last few months that he can be an important part of our squad and he has rightfully made the step up from the youth academy to the first team. The wide player joined Schalke’s youth academy from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2014. The 19-year-old played for several of the Knappenschmiede’s youth teams before making the step up to the first team during the 2020/2021 season. He’s made 14 appearances this season, including seven starts. He’s also registered his first assist and scored for the first time in professional football.
