Nabil Bentaleb will return to first team training

Following disciplinary misconduct after the home game against RB Leipzig, the Algerian international was suspended and temporarily demoted the Schalke U23s.

„Over the last few days, I have discussed Nabil’s behaviour with Gerald Asamoah and U23s boss Torsten Fröhling,“ said head coach Huub Stevens: „The feedback was entirely positive, both regarding his performance in training and his conduct with the U23s, so we’ve decided to call him back to the first team.“
