“Nassim is a young player who needs to be playing regularly for his development. He will get the chance to do this in Helsinki. Both us and Nassim are convinced that this move abroad will do him good,” said S04 sporting director Rouven Schröder. “We would like to wish him all the best for his time in Helsinki.”

Boujellab joined FC Schalke 04 in 2015 and played for all of the club’s academy sides up until 2019. He spent the first half of this season at fellow 2. Bundesliga outfit FC Ingolstadt.
