Nick Taitague leaves FC Schalke 04

21-year-old midfielder Nick Taitague’s contract at FC Schalke 04 has been terminated. The American’s deal was originally due to expire on 30th June 2021.

Taitague joined the Royal Blues’ U19s setup in early 2017 from American club FC Richmond in Virginia. After graduating from the youth academy, various injuries limited Taitague to just 13 appearances for the U23s. He never made an appearance for the first team.
