Ozan Kabak voted November Player of the Month
Schalke fans have spoken: Ozan Kabak is the November Player of the Month. The Turkey international received almost half of the total vote on schalke04.de.
48 percent of the vote for November’s Player of the Month in recent weeks went in favour of centre-back Ozan Kabak. In second place, Benito Raman received 31 percent of the total vote, with Amine Harit (11 percent) and Daniel Caliguiri (10 percent) in third and fourth place. In October, Omar Mascarell won the award after consecutive awards for Amine Harit in August and September.
Everyone who voted for Kabak was entered into a draw, which was won by Jessica Schulz. The 30-year-old Gelsenkirchen local, who has had a Nordkurve season ticket since 1998/99, won VIP tickets to the home game against SC Freiburg.
Meeting Ozan Kabak is a memory I’ll cherish for a long time.
Jessica also joined Schalke’s number 4 for a ‘Meet and Greet’ after full time in the Hagedorn Lounge. She presented Kabak the award and congratulated him on winning the vote.
“It was a great experience so close to Christmas,” she said: “Unfortunately we didn’t get the three points, but meeting Ozan Kabak is a memory I’ll cherish for a long time.”
The question now is whether Kabak can defend the title and pick up December’s Player of the Month award as well. Voting will open in the coming days, and once again, there will be a lucky winner chosen from the voters.
