Pablo Insua remains on loan at SD Huesca

Since joining S04 from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2017, the centre-back has been plagued by injuries. After being diagnosed with pleurisy in September 2017 and suffering from a pericardial infection, Insua was only able to make one Bundesliga appearance for Schalke. The following season, the club loaned him out to then newly-promoted SD Huesca of the Spanish top flight, where Insua went on to make 10 league appearances before rupturing his cruciate ligament in February, an injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season. That season, Huesca were relegated from La Liga back into the second tier, where they will now be fighting for a quick return.
