Ralf Fährmann joins SK Brann on loan until the end of the season

Goalkeeper Ralf Fährmann has joined SK Brann on a loan deal until 30th June 2020. He was previously on loan at Norwich City, but has now agreed a deal with the three-time Norwegian champions, which FC Schalke 04 agreed to.

The 31-year-old only made three competitive appearances for the English side, with only one of those coming in the Premier League (also played once in the FA Cup and once in the League cup).

Fährmann’s Schalke contract will expire on 30th June 2023. He is due to return to the Royal Blues on 1st July 2020, although he could still sign permanently for Brann Bergen as the transfer window in Norway only closes at the end of March. The Eliteserien season begins on 5th April for Fährmann’s new club with an away game at Rosenborg BK.
