Ralf Fährmann returns to train with Schalke
Ralf Fährmann is officially on loan at Norwegian top flight side Brann Bergen until 30 June, but is returning ahead of schedule to train with Schalke 04.
With the permission of Brann Bergen, Ralf Fährmann approached his parent club Schalke because of uncertainties in Norway as to when the season can be resumed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. “We were clear right away that we would be happy to support these intentions,” said head coach David Wagner: “Right now I’m really looking forward to getting to know Ralle personally in our day-to-day life. We want to get him to his best possible condition physically, should he have the chance to play again in Norway before 30 June. Furthermore, Ralle is a top bloke who will benefit us both on and off the pitch.” In any case, the goalkeeper will be back under contract at FC Schalke 04 from 1 July 2020.

With the necessary permission from Brann Bergen, Fährmann joined his former and future teammates in the Easter Monday fitness session (13 April).
