Seppo Eichkorn makes comeback to Schalke coaching staff

New signing for Domenico Tedesco’s coaching team: Seppo Eichkorn, who was an assistant coach for FC Schalke 04 between 2009 and 2013, will rejoin the S04 coaching team with immediate effect. He will travel with the team for the upcoming training camp in Benidorm, Spain, which gets underway on Friday (4th January).

“We’ve got to know Seppo well over the last one-and-a-half years during his work as a scout and have valued his work for us. That’s why we’re convinced that he’ll prove to be an excellent addition to our team,” explains head coach Domenico Tedesco.

The 62-year-old has worked for the Royal Blues as a scout since 2013. Assistant coach Peter Perchtold, match analyst Lars Gerling, goalkeeper coach Simon Henzler and fitness coaches Bob Schoos and Klaus Luisser make up the rest of the first-team coaching staff.
