Shkodran Mustafi remains in quarantine

Following discussions with the Gelsenkirchen health authorities, Shkodran Mustafi will remain in quarantine until Friday (5.2.). The new signing who joined the club from Arsenal may only leave to to train alone and isolated from the rest of the team at the FC Schalke 04 training ground.

Regular tests will be made during this period. After the discussions with the health authorities, the club will make a last-minute decision on the player’s availability to face RB Leipzig on Saturday (6.2).

Above all, the health and safety of the public and the fight against the pandemic remains the absolute priority. FC Schalke 04 will implement all the restrictions put in place by the Gelsenkirchen health authorities and thank them for their good cooperation.
