Skrzybski back in team training – William has torn his ACL

After a long injury break, Steven Skrzybski is back in team training. The 28-year-old suffered an MCL tear at the start of January away to Hertha BSC. Nabil Bentaleb, who had a minor operation on his groin in mid-March, is also back involved.

Mehmet Can Aydin is also working his way back to full fitness. The 19-year-old has recently had a syndesmosis problem, but has already managed some running sessions. Kilian Ludewig (broken foot) and Matija Nastasic (calf injury) are currently completing rehabilitation programmes, as well as Hamza Mendyl after his syndesmosis injury.

William and Mascarell out

Right-back William has unfortunately suffered a serious injury. The 26-year-old tore his ACL in training and already underwent an operation on Tuesday (4/5). Omar Mascarell is also out injured with a muscle strain. Benjamin Stambouli will be unavailable for the foreseeable future too. He had an operation on his upper jaw and cannot train for the time being.
