Paul Seguin back in training after head injury against Münster
Last Friday’s home game against Preußen Münster (28/2) saw Paul Seguin come off with a quarter of an hour left to play. The midfielder suffered a head injury after colliding with former Royal Blue Florian Pick and required treatment for several minutes. The wound was promptly stitched up after the final whistle.

After being able to rest over the weekend, the 29-year-old trained with his teammates at the start of the new week as preparations begin for Saturday’s away game (8/3) at Hertha BSC. Seguin was joined in training on Tuesday (4/3) by his captain Kenan Karaman, who has missed the last two games due to illness. The striker was also able to complete the full session with the rest of the team.
There is also some good news regarding Tobias Mohr. The 29-year-old has also recovered from the infection that has kept him out of the last two games and he was able to train with the team for parts of the session. Ron Schallenberg is still training individually following his calf injury, while Moussa Sylla (muscle strain) are Emil Højlund (thigh injury) are continuing with their rehabilitative work.
Zaid Tchibara, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the closing stages of the match against Darmstadt a few weeks ago, underwent a successful operation on Monday (3/3). S04 will be without the attacker for several months. Ilyes Hamache is also on the sidelines due to an Achilles tendon injury.
