Tidiane Touré training with the first team as preparations begin for Düsseldorf
With Jakob Fimpel in charge, FC Schalke 04 started their preparations on Monday (5/5) for the upcoming away game at Fortuna Düsseldorf. Tidiane Touré, a right-back from the U23s who recently made his first-team debut in Regensburg and signed his first professional contract valid until 30th June 2028 last week, was part of the group in training.

Aymen Barkok was also involved in the session. The midfielder didn’t train with his teammates last week for disciplinary reasons.
Jakob Sachse, who was playing for 1. FC Düren until a few weeks ago, was also in training. The 19-year-old striker is set to join the club’s U23s after his contract expired.
Two players not present were the ill Tobias Mohr and Paul Seguin, who had to come off early with a foot injury against SC Paderborn 07 on Friday (2/5). Additionally, Christopher Antwi-Adjei is training individually. The attacker has a problem with his ankle following Friday’s defeat.
Peter Remmert will train with the U23s this week. Just like the first team, they will face Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday (10/5). The battle of the two clubs’ reverse sides will kick off at 14:00 CEST at the Parkstadion – one hour after the 2. Bundesliga fixture starts in Düsseldorf.
