Training begins ahead of S04's final home game of the year

FC Schalke 04 picked up preparations on Wednesday (10/12) ahead of their final home game of the year. Janik Bachmann and Ron Schallenberg were both working individually.

The Royal Blues were also without Ayman Gulasi. The 19-year-old set to be sidelined for several months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee shortly after scoring in a 4-0 win for the club’s U23s against SC Wiedenbrück. He is set to undergo surgery next week.

The club would like to wish Ayman all the best for quick and full recovery!

FC Schalke 04 began the week with a public training session, as they prepare for a midweek cup clash with last Friday’s opponents, SV Darmstadt. The Royal Blues will head south to face Darmstadt on Wednesday (29/10) in the second round of this season’s DFB-Pokal.
