Højlund in demand, Lasme working individually, Murkin injured

Emil Højlund was a man in demand after his first training session with Schalke on Tuesday (16/7). The new signing from Copenhagen took time to sign autographs and take photos with the fans following his first day at the club. Bryan Lasme was also on the training ground and trained with the ball for the first time in a few days.

The French attacker had suffered from muscular problems in Mittersill and was absent from some training sessions. However, he is yet to rejoin full team training.

Derry John Murkin wasn’t able to finish the session due to pain in his right thigh. The English defender will not train on Wednesday (17/7). The club are waiting for a diagnosis following scans.
