Preparations for the home game against Magdeburg well underway

It was a busy Wednesday afternoon at the training pitches, with full-back Adrian Gantenbein finally able to join his teammates for the full session ahead of Saturday’s game against 1. FC Magdeburg (21/2).

Having suffered a calf injury during our first game of 2026 at Hertha BSC, Gantenbein had been able to join the group for sections of last week’s training schedule and was finally back to take part in the full program today. Timo Becker was also fully involved in Wednesday’s session. The defender was substituted off at half-time in Kiel as a precaution.
