Tauer given all-clear – Karaman and Drexler out for coming weeks

The players that suffered an injury in the away game at Eintracht Braunschweig underwent tests and scans on Monday (21/8) back in Gelsenkirchen. Head coach Thomas Reis will now be without two of his players.

Kenan Karaman (calf) and Dominick Drexler (adductor) both suffered muscle injuries in the game against Braunschweig. They will therefore be unavailable to Thomas Reis for the coming weeks.

Thankfully though, Niklas Tauer was given the all-clear. Despite a swollen jaw, tests have shown that the 22-year-old is still able to train.
