Ilyes Hamache back in team training

Head coach Kees van Wonderen had a few new faces in training on Tuesday morning (22/10).

After training individually on Monday, Ilyes Hamache returned to team training. He missed the final session on Friday before the trip to Hannover due to pain in his foot. Two players from the U23s, goalkeeper Faaris Yusufu and defender Tim Schmidt, trained with the first team on Tuesday.

Ibrahima Cissé missed the first two weeks of training with the new coach as he was on international duty with Mali. With the Royal Blues set for a busy week – a midweek DFB-Pokal tie at FC Augsburg (29/10) is sandwiched between the home game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth (26/10) and the trip to SSV Ulm (1/11) – the defender will initially train with the U23s.
