Ron Schallenberg returns to full training after head wound

Preparations for Friday’s home game (26/9) against SpVgg Greuther Fürth are well underway, as the Royal Blues held an open training session two days before the clash. Ron Schallenberg will take part in full training, having suffered a head wound in the 2-0 win against Magdeburg.

The midfielder has been able to return to team training, as his injury has been treated and is healing well.

Timo Becker is working individually today after picking up a knock to his pelvis in a challenge at the weekend. Whether or not he’ll be available for the game against Fürth is still uncertain.

Peter Remmert, Max Grüger and Emil Højlund are also working individually, while Zaid Tchibara and Tomas Kalas continue with their rehab training as they work to recover from their respective injuries.
