Dejan Ljubičić, Anton Donkor and Max Grüger all in team training

Thursday’s training session was new signing Dejan Ljubičić’s first with the Schalke fans in attendance. The 28-year-old trained with his new teammates for the first time on Wednesday, albeit behind closed doors.

Max Grüger and Anton Donkor were also in full training after recovering from their respective injury problems. Miron Muslic’s team play away at VfL Bochum on Saturday (31/1).

Vitalie Becker, however, is still not in team training. The left-back suffered a knee injury late on in the game at Hertha BSC and has been restricted to some running sessions in recent days.
