Karius and Antwi-Adjei set for periods on the sidelines
After both having to come off due to injury away to SpVgg Greuther Fürth on Sunday (30/3), goalkeeper Loris Karius and attacking player Christopher Antwi-Adjei will each be out of action until further notice.

Karius sustained an injury to the structural muscle in his left calf, which was diagnosed following tests on Monday. He will not feature again in the current season following the injury picked up shortly before half-time with the score at 2-1.
“We will support Loris as best we can in his recovery along with our medical staff. His injury comes at a frustrating time but his health is the most important thing,” explained director of professional football Youri Mulder.
Ongoing tests being carried out by the Schalke 04 medical department with Christopher Antwi-Adjei have diagnosed a slight muscle injury to his right thigh. The time of his return to training will depend on his individual healing process. Antwi-Adjei had to leave the field on 75 minutes in Fürth as a result of his injury.
