Ten players and three staff set to leave first team

The Royal Blues will bid farewell to ten players and three staff members from the first team following the final week of the 2020/21 season.

Steven Skrzybski, Bastian Oczipka, Benjamin Stambouli

Benjamin Stambouli and Bastian Oczipka’s contracts are due to end following relegation into Bundesliga 2, while deals with Steven Skrzybski, Alessandro Schöpf, Shkodran Mustafi and Nabil Bentaleb are set to expire.

Loanees William (VfL Wolfsburg), Goncalo Paciencia, Frederik Rönnow (both Eintracht Frankfurt) and Kilian Ludewig (RB Salzburg) will return to their parent clubs.

Strength and conditioning coach Quirin Löppert, nutrition advisor Dr. Weibke-Maria Schlusemann and physiotherapist Dennis Schmitz have all decided to leave the club at the end of the season as well.
